Our Instructors

  • I am a Registered Kinesiologist, Certified Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor and co-owner of Pillar Pilates. I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge through movement and am dedicated to helping everyone feel strong in their bodies. With my background in movement science and rehabilitation I blend spicy flows with therapeutic movement to leave you feeling confident and capable. I look forward to moving with you on the mat!

  • I am a Registered Physiotherapist, Pelvic Health Specialist, Certified Mat and Reformer Instructor and co-owner of Pillar Pilates. I also own a multi-disciplinary clinic called Flow Physio and Wellness in Bowmanville. My passion for Pilates is rooted in the understanding that movement heals and is key for longevity. My goal is to make my classes empowering and offer cues that educate you on how you can move better and feel stronger.

  • I am a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Lactation Consultant and a Certified Pilates instructor who is passionate about supporting others through both her lactation practice and movement. With personal experience navigating chronic pain, I have learned the importance of not letting pain define you—shifting away from pushing through discomfort and instead listening to the body’s signals and advocating for what it needs. Outside of my work, I love travelling, camping, trying new activities, spending time with friends and family, and I never turn down something sweet/ chocolate!

  • I am a Pilates instructor who is passionate about helping clients build strength, move with confidence, and feel good in their bodies. I am trained as part of the inaugural cohort at Pillar Pilates and am currently completing my teaching practice hours.

As a busy mom of three, when I’m not at the studio, you can find me cheering on my kids at the arena, soccer fields and ball diamond!

  • Hey! I’m Annika, a Certified Mat Pilates Instructor who is passionate about helping people feel strong, balanced, and connected in their bodies.

With a Bachelor's degree in Human Health Science and over five years of experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant, I take a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to teaching. My classes are rooted in the core principles of Pilates, focusing on precision, control, and mindful movement to support long-term health and quality of life. I'm also currently studying holistic nutrition to deepen my whole-body approach to wellness. Outside of work, you can usually find me spending time with family, hiking, biking, and enjoying nature!

  • I am a Registered Kinesiologist and certified pilates instructor. I have a strong foundation in functional anatomy and refined movement principles. Backed by an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and extensive clinical experience, I deliver a detail-oriented approach to every class. My classes are rooted in intentional movement, with a focus on building core strength, improving postural alignment and enhancing body awareness. As a mom of two, I offer a reliable perspective, creating a supportive and empowering environment where clients can move with confidence, control and strength.

  • I am a Pillar Pilates Certified Mat Pilates Instructor with a huge passion for movement. I truly believe that Pilates is for every body, no matter your age or fitness level. Whether you are just starting out or have been active for years, my goal is to help you feel strong, flexible, and confident. I truly believe that when we move better, we feel better!

I love sharing the “why” behind every move! I have spent a lot of time studying human anatomy—which is just a fancy way of saying I know how your muscles and bones work together so I can ensure our workouts are both safe and effective.

  • I have been teaching yoga for over 10 years now and am a strength and conditioning coach. My approach weaves together dynamic movement, mindful presence and intentional breathwork to help you build strength, mobility and create an inner calm.

I am deeply passionate about the power of movement and mindfulness, and I love guiding practices to make you feel strong, grounded and fully connected in mind and body.

  • Hi I’m Annika!

I’m a passionate certified yoga teacher who fell in love with the power of linking movement with breath and the subtle shifts it creates within the body. My goal is to create a supportive, accepting and welcoming space where everyone can adjust as needed or explore deeper options at their own pace. I love to guide intentional movement - from slow, relaxing stretch classes to more energizing breath-driven flows. With a mix of different music types and moments of stillness, my goal is to help you feel relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Off my mat you’ll find me camping, reading, exploring new music, watching sports or spending time with family and friends!

  • My classes are for women 50+ who want a supportive, welcoming space to move and feel better.

We focus on building strength, improving balance, and staying mobile so you can feel more comfortable and confident in everyday life.

No pressure. No perfection. Just movement that helps you keep doing the things you love.

Pilates, to me, isn’t about pushing or keeping up. It’s about moving in a way that works for your body.

My passion to travel, and keeping up with my grandkids are a couple of the big reasons I stay active and keep moving
