Pillar Pilates was derived from the concept of the 6 Pillars of Pilates: Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath, and Flow—which are the foundational elements created by Joseph Pilates to ensure a safe, effective, mind-body workout. These core principles focus on using the "powerhouse" (core) for movement, maintaining mental focus, executing precise motions with control, and utilizing breath to enhance fluid transitions.
